So lazy..

Heya folks (and spam bots),

So it’s been about five months or so from my last entry. It’s not like I haven’t been wanting to write but time has really gotten in the way. Here’s a bit of a summary of what has gone on since I returned:

• I went to a bunch of gigs from Yellowcard to Tegan and Sara.
• I played a few live poker tournaments and ran really well hot in one for a nice big stack of money..
• I left my job of eighteen months to start a new one only this week.
• I created a couple of fictional universes which the public will hopefully be exposed to sometime in ‘08.
• I watched a whole lot of television and listened to a huge amount of music.

But I haven’t been writing on here! So over the next week or so I’ll be finishing up my Stateside journal and writing about what I have done in the last six months, before returning for LIST-O-MANIA ‘08 (possibly with a name change) as I look at my favourite television episodes, write about artists I discovered and maybe even fill you in on a very special project which will be coming sooner then I realised. All in all, interesting times ahead.

So with that - back to our featured presentation.

• I think i missed part of the set thanks to falling asleep. #
• Decent set either way. #
• Kaiser Chiefs have a decent crowd, but the band doesn’t seem to think they are in the festival spirit. #
• A lot of burnt out people around, myself included. #

• I’m suprised at how well klaxons are being recieved. #
• Jose Gonzalez is suffering from too much soundbleed from the other stages. #
• I have taken a place on the grass for Air. Saw the end of Placebo, they sounded decent. Crowded House are finishing up their best of set as #
• Air is starting late. #
• A lot of people leaving but the outdoor theater is packed for Air. #
• A whole lot of people leaving Air. #
• Air played five songs total, no all i need. Total disapointment. #
• Everyone in this festival is walking to the main stage. RATM doesn’t play for at least #
• Minutes away from pandamonium #
• Walking to the stage #
• Crowd is going nuts #
• Testify #
• First aid carts all over the place #
• Bulls on parade #
• People of the sun #
• Bombtrack #
• Bullet in your head #
• Renades of funk #
• Unknown song (shotgun) #
• Killing in the name of #
• Off stage, but the lights are still down #
• That’s it #

• Sitting here in the gobi tent listening to gillian welch. not a fan but it sure is relaxing. #
• Feelin the base with david guetta and it feels good #
• Amy Winehouse is not drunk so it’s Arctic Monkeys time #
• Arctic Monkeys played a tight well rehursed set. I’d be happy to go home but there is still plenty to see. #
• Just had the best dinner of the entire trip all while watching electronic lightning. #
• I am waiting for a bus (driver) #
• Busdriver performed a decent live set. My feet are killing me and i’m sick of smelling weed, otherwise i’m doing well. #
• El-P is the next act up for me. #
• El-P best performance i’ve seen tonight despite the shit sound. #
• Real hot crowd for Gogol Bordello. #
