A Coachella Alphabet: Arctic Monkeys

Name: Arctic Monkeys
Genre: Rock
Day: Friday
Wikipedia sez: “Arctic Monkeys are an English four-piece indie rock/post-punk revival band originating from High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. Formed in 2002, the band currently consists of Alex Turner on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Cook on guitar, Matt Helders on drums and backing vocals and Nick O’Malley on bass guitar, a position formerly held by Andy Nicholson. Arctic Monkeys achieved chart success with their first two singles, “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” and “When the Sun Goes Down”, reaching number one in the UK Singles Chart. Their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history and received critical acclaim, winning the 2006 Mercury Prize.”
So who the fuck ar.. okay okay, I won’t go down that path. I don’t mind rock music in general but you’d be hard pressed to find a new rock band loved by many that I also love. The Killers? Please. Franz Ferdinand? You gotta be kidding me. Bloc Party? They are trash. So for some reason I can’t get enough of Arctic Monkeys. I jumped on the bandwagon pretty late, but given how often “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not” has spun at my place, I might of made up for it. It’s fun music to dance to, catchy as hell with brilliant lyrics to boot, the complete package. One of the major bands that I am really looking forward to seeing at Coachella.
Likelyhood of Seeing at Coachella: Certainty.

Imply? I thought it was pretty clear Emma
I’ll listen to Franz Ferdinand or The Killers if they come on the radio, but I’d never pay to see them live or buy an album of theres. They make forgettable music (so do Arctic Monkeys for that matter), but at least AM are fun to dance to.

This is the last time I will ever read anything that “Mike Brown” posts. I have never been so quick to anger and insults as I am when I read your dribble. You seem to “jump on band wagons” pretty late and too often noob. I seriously dont see why you even talk about Coachella. Where do you get your covering?

I’ll make sure to stick a “no posers” sign up on the door so you can’t get in next time.
