Veronica Mars - Show Me The Monkey - Well Veronica Mars is back with mystery no. 2. The dean of Hurst killed himself, which means Keith (and Veronica) are on the case of working out who actually did it. Suicide? Pish posh. Meanwhile our MOTW (Mystery of the Week) involves Veronica chasing up who kidnapped a monkey and a hard drive used for animal testing. This involves Veronica and Mac infiltrating a PETA type organization and Mac falling for the leader of the group, despite going absolutely brain dead for the guy. As should be expected, Veronica solves the case and has a long talk with Piz about life in which we are lead to believe the two are falling for each other. “So they are going to play off which does Veronica like more - Piz or Logan?”. Sure enough, Veronica goes back to Logan pretty much as soon as Piz stops talking. Next day, Piz still has feelings for Veronica, but Logan seems to have stronger ones. That bitch! What did I think of the episode? It was okay. The MOTW allowed Mac to grow by getting a potential boyfriend and a Piz vs Logan storyline is going to develop (with Logan punching Piz and Veronica sticking up for her, just you watch). Thumb in the middle, turning slightly up.
