Wii unboxing and various other thoughts

Just like I mentioned in my last entry, my Wii unboxing post should be up today prevented I don’t get attached to the Wii again.

Fortunately, I don’t have work tomorrow so here it is.

After telling my mate Danny about how I was going to pick up the Wii, he used several expletives to describe how he felt. I promised to send him a picture of when I picked up the console which made him felt even better (sarcasm of course). The pickup of the console took about 10-15 minutes and after getting some lunch, I was on my way back to work. But first, a few photos.

Few sashimi, few nori. Pretty average all round.

The picture I sent to Danny. Salmon sushi pack, $7.50. It was pretty average and the wasabi resembled play-dough (not a good sign).

I went back to work and had a disappointing lunch. Once 5pm hit, I was out of there, reading for some Wii! Once home, the unboxing began and I got the camera ready and raring to go. So let’s go on a photo tour!

Pack 1 - Wii Sports along with the Wiimote, Nunchuck, some instruction books and something in the bottom right hand corner that I can’t identify.

Pack 2

Pack 2 - The Wii itself, AC Adapter and other crud.

That’s where I’ll leave it photo wise. After this was all done, the machine was hooked up, fun was had and arms became sore. It’s good folks, I like it.

No TV report because Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares wasn’t worth reporting on this week. No work from my host on what is going on with my website which is irritating. I’ll try and get it up sometime during the week before I go away. I noticed that I’ve had 94 readers for the past six entries, thanks for checking it out. Feel free to leave comments etc, pick fun at me, I don’t care.

Think I’m gonna hop into bed and read the street press. Or play poker. I haven’t decided yet. Night.

  1. Big Danny G Says:

    I got my Wii too.

    Frigging love it.

Wii Elbow will be a common injury in this household.

  2. Andrea Says:

Wii Elbow has now started to move up the arm to the shoulder.

    Should I be worried?

  3. Big Danny G Says:

Both my arms are very bloody sore. Can barely lift them without it aching a bit.

I’ll fight through it, got a long way to go in Zelda and Wii Sports is addictive.
